When the deviation occurs during the operation of the conveyor belt, the conveyor belt touches the vertical roller of the switch and deflects the vertical roller. When the deflection angle of the vertical roller reaches the level 1 switching angle, the switch sends an alarm signal. When the conveyor belt runs off to a serious extent and reaches the level 2 switch angle, the switch sends a stop signal to automatically stop the conveyor belt deviation. When the belt deviation fault is removed and the belt conveyor is in normal operation, the switch vertical roller can be automatically reset to return to the initial state.
Installation and adjustment

Offset switch is located on both sides of the conveyor belt, the vertical roller should be with the conveyor belt The side planes are vertical and the conveyor belts are placed on both sides of the vertical roller at a height of 1/3.
2. The distance between the vertical roller of the deviation switch and the normal position of the conveyor belt should be 50-100mm.
3. The number of deviation switches should be determined according to the length, type and layout of the conveyor. It should generally be set at the conveyor head, tail, convex arc, concave arc and in the middle of the conveyor. (Note: When the conveyor is long, set one pair every 30 to 35 meters in the middle of the conveyor)
4. The deviation switch should be connected to the conveyor intermediate frame through the mounting bracket. The switch bracket should be welded to the conveyor frame after the conveyor is installed. The deviation switch and the deviation switch bracket are bolted.
Scope of application

Classification of the deviation switch
The deviation switch has a common type, a wiring cavity type, and an address code.
The common type is the above two-stage deviation switch;
The wiring cavity type deviation switch is provided with a waterproof wiring compartment on the basis of the ordinary type deviation switch. The field control cable can be directly connected to the wiring cavity to prevent the cable connector from being damaged by the moisture and the virtual connection.
The address coding type deviation switch is based on the common deviation switch and integrates XLline field bus technology to realize the address coding function. It is suitable for the operation of long belt conveyors as remote monitoring field devices, which solves the inconvenience caused by workers looking for fault points.
The address-coded two-stage deviation switch and the integrated protection device (gateway) are connected by XLline fieldbus mode, which supports up to 128 addresses, and the same address can be used simultaneously with multiple switches. The biggest feature is that only one two-core cable can be used. Data transfer is completed at the same time and no power supply is required.
The XLline fieldbus can finally be flexibly linked to the PLC and computer interfaces of major manufacturers.
